What an honor to be part of that list with the other wonderful blogs and websites. I am ever so grateful to Feedspot and to our readers!
A little context on this rating. Feedspot’s Top lists are complied by a team of over 25 experts whose goal is to discover and rank popular blogs, podcasts and youtube channels in several niche categories. Think “niches” as specific as Top “Corporate Governance Podcasts” or Top “Skydiving Magazines & Publications”.
With millions of blogs on the web, finding influential bloggers in a niche industry could be challenging. Feedspot works through it using a combination of both algorithmic and human editing which has got to be the best means of curation. Their research team uses in-house media monitoring tools on google and social media platforms to discover new influencers. Their expert editorial team reviews each blog before adding them to a relevant category list. They do routinely remove inactive blogs and those which are no longer relevant to a given list. And best of all in my books – they take direct feedback from users to make changes to the lists! If that isn’t nice I don’t know what is 🙂
