Here you’ll find reviews of my favourite books that have won, were shortlisted or recognised as ‘notable’ in the CBCA (Children’s Book Council of Australia) Book of the Year Awards. Operating since 1945, CBCA Awards recognise Australian books of outstanding literary merit across 6 categories: Older Readers, Younger Readers, Early Childhood, Picture Book of the Year, Eve Pownall (non-fiction) Award and the Award for New Illustrator.
