Hans Christian Andersen Award

It is the highest international recognition also known as the little Nobel prize in literature. This Award administered by IBBY (International Board on Books for Young People) recognises life-long achievement and is presented to an author and an illustrator whose complete works have made an important, lasting contribution to children’s literature.
